About This Commercial Real Estate Energy Infrastructure Project

The Challenge

The Saywitz Company’s flat-roof office building presented structural limitations due to the age of the roof, ruling out a standard ballasted or heavily anchored racking system and requiring a mounting approach engineered to preserve the roof’s integrity despite its age and condition.

The Solution

NEI installed a penetration-based footing system using IronRidge racking, FastJack mounts, and M1 sealing curb kits, providing a secure, lightweight installation suited to the roof’s condition. The system uses 540-watt bifacial panels paired with APsystems QT2-208 micro-inverters, selected for their power efficiency and 25-year warranty.
